This Privacy Policy outlines the principles and guidelines by which Webber operates to protect the personal information of customers and other individuals that we collect, use or disclose in the conduct of our operations.

The objective of Webber is to promote responsible and transparent practices in the management of personal information.

Scope of This Policy

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal information" refers to personal information about a customer or potential customer of Webber, or other individuals with whom Webber deals in the conduct of its operations. Personal information of Webber customers includes a customer's service and billing information, billing and payment records, credit history, equipment purchases and payment records, credit applications and credit application and credit transactions records and correspondence or recordings of inquiries, service matters or complaints. This Policy applies to Webber and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Personal information may be transmitted between Webber and its affiliates and subsidiaries.

Information Webber collects and how it is used

Webber shall limit the collection of personal information to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by Webber. Webber may collect the following types of information:

  • Information you provide – When you sign up for a Webber Account, Webber asks you for certain personal information to help identify you properly and to assist in establishing and administering customer accounts. Where credit is requested by you, Webber may obtain credit reports or credit histories and retain same for purposes of assessing applications for credit or account payment delinquencies.

Webber uses cookies to improve the quality of service, including for storing user preferences and tracking user trends. You may opt-out of the use or disclosure of non-sensitive personal information by or to Webber business units or third parties for marketing purposes.

If Webber becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, it will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Information security

Webber takes appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where personal data is stored.

Webber restricts access to personal information to Webber employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to process it on Webber's behalf. Webber regularly reviews its compliance with this Privacy Policy. When Webber receives formal written complaints, it is Webber's policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. Webber will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Webber and an individual.
